for those who do not know, there is an article in forbes magazine about my lawsuit.
i wish to take the time to thank everyone who have helped me in the past and who are helping me now.
i will try to clear up a few things.. the watchtower lawyers who live and work at the wts hq are defendants.
Laurence please note that I only brought up a fund to give you peace about the monies. Personally I and I am sure many others are not worried about what happens afterward. I truly doubt there will be leftover mony but if there is for goodness sake there will be a case somewhere that can use it. In other words if anyone gives may it be to the cause, yours or the next person who needs it. That is probably too simplistic of an idea. I know the law is complicated. Love~BlondKate
one of the key things i have noticed since leaving the witnesses and interacting with other faiths, is that they often mention the word "miracle!
" in that they will claim that their god had performed some sort of miracle in their life that brought about something amazing.
it is not always christians who say this either, as many of my "pagan" friends and myself have had spirit driven moments that were something that could not be displaced as "chance.
I experienced the miracle of my life in 1992 when the Spirit of Christ visited me in the hospital. I was dying of massive abdominal peritonitis and later found out the chances of survival were 2%. I was in pretty bad shape. On the last night that I would have made it (I was losing the fight for life and every breath was torture), on that night I was visited by Christ in the Spirit. The visit changed and saved my life. I had up to that night been living under the dark cloud of Watchtower indoctrination. Thus began my personal relationship with Jesus.
My JWs "sisters" witnessed the transformation as they had visited me the day before, and had come to see if I was still alive the next day and say their good-byes if I was. I told them what happened. It did not take long before they started shunning me. The visitation was followed with a medical miracle. The machine I was hooked up to via a GI tube was an aspirator and had been found to be malfunctioning that next morning. It took four hours to aspirate the contents of my stomach which was full of blood and mucous. I had been drowning in my own bodily fluids. My week long paralyzed bowels started making sounds They started working right before they had planned to install the colostomy bag if I lived. The week long fever broke. It was incredible. I was lost, then found, blind then I could see, just like the song.
I don't really care if anyone believes me or not just please respect me enough to not tell me I am crazy or healed myself. This is just one of the miracles Jesus did for me. I have another that I have scanned the hospital records into my computer. If anyone wants to see them pm me where to send them and I will. I was pregnant with my third son. I knew before hand God was going to give me my last child. I started having complication, many complications and the doctor advised me to abort. It turned out my womb was full of undiagnosed fibroid tumors, I had undiagnosed genetic blood disease, ovarian cysts and endometriosis.
My son had attached himself to one of the tumors and what that meant is he would not get the blood supply, I would probably spontaneously miscarry ripping the tumor from the uterus wall, and they probably would not be able to save me, I would bleed out. My then husband was freaked, and was afraid he would lose me and or have a crippled deformed child. I prayed, I heard the voice of God (NO not audibly but deep inside my spirit) and I knew that my son would live.
My son is 17, extremely gifted, and a true blessing of faith. Whenever he thinks too little of himself I show him the medical records and remind him he is a miracle. My precious living miracle! My experience changed my life in that I knew for Christ to be my Mediator, I had to have a relationship with Him, that means talking! I asked my "sisters" why if we talked to Jesus when He was here with us, talked to Him after He rose from the dead, talked to Him after He ascended into heaven (Saul/Paul) when did it become illegal to talk to Jesus?
Well, they were going to get back to me and never did. I really loved them so much.
i need your help to continue my lawsuit against the watchtower society and the doctor who the watchtower society arranged for to give my daughter arsenic.
the wts lawyer, hlc members and the doctor deceived bethany and lied to her, convincing her that arsenic would cure her.
bethany was convinced that arsenic could cure her and was curing her.
May I suggest that in the sad case that the money is not needed, (I refuse to believe that) but that "if," Any unneeded monies be put in trust for the next case against the Watchtower. This way Laurence need not be concerned with the funds, just know they come from our hearts, to the cause of justice. Together we WILL make a difference! Justice WILL prevail, and we WILL be validated in the legal courts, and the court of public opinions.
i've seen how some (not me) are still bewildered and still searching for "the truth" and are unhappy.
what's your status?
?
YES!
It has been 14 years since I had my epiphany. It was beautiful. To know that God's love for me, according to the real Bible, His love is unconditional. Unconditional. Unconditional. No amount of meetings, door to door service, was ever going to make Him "approve" me. He loves me just the way I am. That fact made me very happy. Grace made me happy. Freedom made me happy.
I wanna go moon Bethel. That's how happy I am.
normally i am fine but a glass and a half of wine and my heart is breaking.
the irony of it is is that i was as lonely as this in the congregation.. i feel overwhelmed with life and never seem to get anywhere or get anything done.
god, i sound pitiful.
The last glass of wine I had gave me pancreatitus WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Oh it was so yummy going down too, very smooth. There is a place out here called "Hadleys Fruit Orchards" and they have the smoothest wines.
I gotta be honest with ya Mary, the only ones I have seen judgemental around here are those who are sincere and well meaning but try to defend Watchtower doctrine and policies to us. Or think they are going to bravely face the apostates with "the truth" since the time is so short and all
I hope you are feeling better!

Hi Mary!
We have a lot in common. I have a genetic blood disease that has caused lupus and a host of other unwanted maladies. I also am homebound quite often. Every time I try to do something on a regular basis my body freaks out and I am back in bed.
I live in the beautiful High Desert of Southern California, the Mojave. I live off a little road, down a bumpy dirt road to a long dirt driveway. I have five acres and awesome views ten miles from a small desert town. I was alone for many years trying to raise a very unhappy teenager. He hated being out here. After many years single I finally remarried and it kinda exacerbated my lupus, the excitement and all
I'm so glad you found this great supportive forum. We have all wandered in different directions after the Watchtower but we all share one important thing, we survived. We are survivors! If I can figure out how to use my Yahoo messenger I'll message you if you like. You can email me at [email protected] and put "JWD" in the email subject so I know who you are.
Love~Kate
i'm anticipating a series of visitis from the witnesses to invite me to memorial.
every year i get a few with the preprinted invitation, a couple slightly old magazines, and big smiles.
these are people who i grew up with, who were kind to me, who honestly think my fade out will cost my eternal soul at the big a. these are the same people who pick up my elderly parents for meetings, bring them food when they are sick, and change their rusted out water heater for them in the dead of winter.
I will invite them in, pour three glasses of grape juice and matsa crackers and serve them, recite John 6:53 - Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Ask God to bless it, and eat and drink.
I am ready.
after reading another thread about a congregation being deleted, i am curious about the process.
i didn't even know it could happen.
how is it all decided?.
WELCOME JIMMY!
Please add me to your email list and let me know when the book is finished. [email protected]
copied from an amazon.com review:.
author gary chapman in his book the five love languages: how to express heartfelt commitment to your mate believes everyone has a love tank, and that tank is filled by different love languages.
these five languages are .
Very true understanding of the human heart in my opinion. What made everything work for me was actually taking a 6 year sabbatical from men and relationships. Refused to date or fall in love. I made two mistakes previously so I decided I needed to just give up on the idea of love and relationships.
I learned to love myself in those 6 years. I got to know what my needs were and how to fill them. In the Spring of 2004 I felt a change coming on. I felt that I was ready and sure enough an incredible man walked into my life. He is excentric like me and we fit together perfectly. We married that same year.
Now I don't depend on him to fill my tank, I fill it myself. This way whatever sweet, quirky little things he does for me is added fun. There is no pressure or insecurity either, no negatives. My relationship with God after the borg is the root of the love that keeps me full. My happiness is not dependant on what my beloved does or does not do. Though it would be cool if he picked up his underware. I just make little underware towers on his side of the bed... and dirty sock mountains...and his chair is filled with dirty clothes....let me read that service love thing again....
